New shoes for New Hope family kids :)

This sunday ..

I managed to pass by Kariakoo to get some new shoes for the New Hope Family kids.
It is such a great feeling to be able to care for these little ones I tell ya; it is a joy beyond normal understanding to be able to do something for somebody in need.

Many thanks to my good friend Freddy Lowassa, who helped to make it possible. God bless you Freddy!

                                                                Plenty pairs of shoes

No more bare feet little Helena

                                                            Me, experiencing pure joy

Little Boni in the middle trying on his new pair.

On the right is the Chairperson of the Orphanage, Omary.

Omary and an overjoyed little boy.

Salum, the boy holding shoes, is keen to create a movie about the life of street kids to educate the public about how they ended up on the streets. If you can help, please email.

                                                                Big smiles

The youngest boy in the orphanage, Boni.

                                                      Happiness beyond explanation

                                                                   More smiles

All the children cheering because of their new shoes.

One of the boys gave me a bracelet for a present.
